Classification

1、Classified by production method

(1) Divided by process - arc welded pipe, resistance welded pipe (high-frequency, low-frequency), gas welded pipe, furnace welded pipe.

(2) Divided by weld seam - straight seam welded pipe, spiral welded pipe.

2、Classified by cross-sectional shape

(1) Simple section steel pipes - circular steel pipes, square steel pipes, elliptical steel pipes, triangular steel pipes, hexagonal steel pipes, diamond steel pipes, octagonal steel pipes, semi-circular steel pipes, and others.

(2) Complex cross-section steel pipes - unequal hexagonal steel pipes, five petal plum shaped steel pipes, double convex steel pipes, double concave steel pipes, melon seed shaped steel pipes, conical steel pipes, corrugated steel pipes, watch case steel pipes, and others.

3、Classified by wall thickness

Thin walled steel pipe, thick walled steel pipe.

Product standards

The commonly used materials for welded pipes are: Q235AQ235CQ235B16Mn20#Q345L245L290X42X46X60X800Cr131Cr1700Cr19Ni111Cr18Ni90Cr18Ni11Nb class

Welded pipes are divided into the following varieties due to their different materials and uses:

(1) GB/T3091-2008 (Welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation): mainly used for transporting general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, air, oil, heating hot water or steam, and other purposes. Its representative material is Q235A grade steel

(2) GB/T14291-2006 (Welded Steel Pipes for Mining Fluid Transport): Mainly used for straight seam welded steel pipes for mine air pressure, drainage, and shaft gas release. Its representative material is Q235A, B-grade steel.

(3) GB/T12770-2002 (Stainless steel welded steel pipes for mechanical structures): mainly used for machinery, automobiles, bicycles, furniture, hotel and restaurant decoration, and other mechanical components and structural parts. Its representative materials include 0Cr13, 1Cr17, 00Cr19Ni11, 1Cr18Ni9, 0Cr18Ni11Nb, etc.

(4) GB/T12771-1991 (Stainless steel welded steel pipes for fluid transport): mainly used for transporting low-pressure corrosive media. Representative materials include 0Cr13, 0Cr19Ni9, 00Cr19Ni11, 00Cr17, 0Cr18Ni11Nb, 0017Cr17Ni14Mo2, etc.
