Hot rolled Coil

Hot rolled Coil

1define

Hot rolled, also known as hot-rolled coil, is made from slab (mainly continuous casting slab) as raw material, which is heated and produced into strip steel by roughing and finishing mills.

The hot steel strip from the last rolling mill of the finishing mill is cooled by laminar flow to the set temperature, and then coiled into a steel strip coil by a coiler. The cooled steel strip coil is then produced.

Hot rolls can be divided into straight rolls and finished rolls (divided rolls, flat rolls, and longitudinal cut rolls).

According to their materials and properties, they can be divided into ordinary carbon structural steel, low-alloy steel, and alloy steel.

According to their different uses, they can be divided into: cold-formed steel, structural steel, automotive structural steel, corrosion-resistant structural steel, mechanical structural steel, welded gas cylinder and pressure vessel steel, pipeline steel, etc.

3steel grade

1. SPHC stands for Steel, P stands for Plate, H stands for Heat, and C stands for Commercial. It generally refers to hot-rolled steel plates and strips.

2. SPHD stands for Hot Rolled Steel Plates and Strips for Stamping.

3. SPHE stands for hot-rolled steel plates and strips for deep drawing.

4. SPCC - Refers to cold-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips commonly used.

The third letter C is the abbreviation for Cold.

During the tensile test, it is necessary to add T at the end of the grade as SPCCT.

5. SPCD - stands for Cold Rolled Carbon Steel Thin Plate and Strip for Stamping

6. SPCE - stands for cold-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips for deep drawing.

When ensuring non timeliness, add N to SPCEN at the end of the grade.

4purpose

Due to its high strength, good toughness, easy processing and good weldability, hot-rolled steel plate products are widely used in manufacturing industries such as ships, automobiles, bridges, construction, machinery, pressure vessels, etc.

With the increasing maturity of new technologies for controlling hot rolling dimensional accuracy, plate shape, surface quality, and the continuous emergence of new products, hot-rolled steel plates and strips have been widely used and have stronger competitiveness in the market.
